INTRODUCTION

Limitless Argentina is a full-service travel company dedicated to providing clients with an unparalleled experience in Argentina. Our in-depth knowledge of the country, as well as our insider’s access, places us in an ideal position to craft the perfect journey for you.

We offer custom itineraries as well as small group travel.  This allows our clients either to tailor an ideal trip of any length to suit their specific interests and needs, or to join a small group of no more that 8 people for a 10-day dream adventure designed by us.

Whether you choose to ski in July, fly-fish in the Patagonia, raft through an Andean river valley, take regional cooking classes, enjoy a national polo match, sit around a camp-fire on an estancia and enjoy the gauchos’ nostalgic songs, wander colonial cathedrals and modern Latin American art museums, shop the trendiest districts of Buenos Aires, or visit the last advancing glacier from the Ice Age, Limitless Argentina will make sure that you make the most of your time. We love Argentina and we enjoy sharing this part of the world with our clients. It is the ultimate place to chart an adventure and a meaningful cultural experience.

We look forward to welcoming you.
Traveling alone is an excellent way to relax and enjoy a vacation on your own terms.  Limitless Argentina is the perfect match for the single traveler, because we are here to receive and take care of you as we would our friends.  Some of the destinations that are popular with our solo adventurers include Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Salta, Jujuy, Iguazu, and Patagonia.  In each of these locations, our clients enjoy excellent guides, such as anthropologists, art historians, oenologists, archeologists, ecologists, or mountaineers.  Our broad spectrum of private hosts allows you to access regional culture and expertise, forge friendships, and all the while maintain the autonomy of your trip and its original spirit.
Families traveling with children will discover that Argentina is very kid-friendly and offers tremendous learning opportunities for everyone – whether outdoorsy or cultural.  Children can raft on an Andean river, horseback ride with working gauchos, ski in soft snow, play polo on a pony, or pick delicious grapes right off the vine. Your children can learn about fascinating indigenous populations, like the Mapuche, Guarani, Quechua-Aimará or Wichi people. They can visit a Pucará in the Humahuaca Mountain Pass, where the pristine remains of a 1,000 year old Andean village include stone homes, playgrounds, corrals, a necropolis, and the botanical gardens of the Tilcara people, untouched by the Spanish conquest 500 years ago.  They can see and learn about llamas, guanacos, ñandus, condors, carpinchos, caimans, and pumas at the zoo or in the wild.  They can discover the science behind icebergs, as well as the local myths that explain the turquoise color of glacier milk and the cerulean blue of the glaciers’ jagged peaks.  They can learn to make empanadas for dinner and flan with dulce de leche for dessert.  And best of all, the family can experience everything together.  Of course, if the parents want to go out for a romantic dinner, an excellent babysitter will be available.

HONEYMOONS

Argentina is, undoubtedly, a very romantic destination.  Buenos Aires offers beautiful hotels, amazing restaurants, open-air markets, museums, tango lessons, fashion, historic walks, gorgeous parks, and a city that truly does not sleep.  Whether you want to take a waterfront walk at midnight under the stars of Puerto Madero, or hit the clubs for some dancing, the city is always ready.

Beyond Buenos Aires is every imaginable destination, from mountains, to plains, to beaches, to jungles, to glaciers. You can stay at a stunning resort and spa on the beach and play golf, or hike and bike in wine country, learn to ice-walk on a glacier, ride horses at sunset on the beach, go on a photo-safari in the Esteros del Iberá, or ski above 10,000 feet.  You can combine any number of activities and locations to find the right blend of down time and adventure.  Once you provide us with your interests, season of travel, and length of stay, we can offer you a customized trip that takes everything into account.
Limitless Argentina can arrange perfect trips for groups of all sizes. We work with groups of friends, large families, clubs, associations, non-profit organizations, corporations, and conferences to create custom itineraries that suit their specific interests and needs. Group travel is available year-round, and is encouraged between March 1st and November 30th. Please contact our office to learn more about group travel options in Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay.
Groups with special interests, such as wine, equitation, skiing, hiking, tango, architecture, archeology, literature, Spanish language, and so forth, can plan a themed vacation.  Building a travel experience around a common interest is an excellent way to anchor your experience in Argentina.  Of course, we will always make sure that your theme, whatever it may be, informs your experience but does not subsume your journey.

Alumni or reunion groups can create vacations of any length and itinerary to suit their needs.  For example, we can provide a structured course on the history, literature and popular culture of Argentina, a language immersion program, a ski trip, or a combination thereof.  We can also re-design any of the trips listed for Small Group Travel for a larger group.

Group trips will always be led by an expert, bi-lingual guide.

Spanish language, culture, and/or literature classes are available to custom travelers. All classes are tailored to each student’s needs. For example, students may take Spanish language classes, Argentine Literature in Spanish or in Translation, Argentine History and Popular Culture, or even a course on Argentine Film.

Classes will be given exclusively by a U.S./Argentine career professor with a Ph.D. from the University of Virginia, and of course - some courses may require reading or film viewing prior to travel.  All of our Travel and Study experiences are designed to be fun, interesting, and applicable.  Linguistic and cultural learning in-country allows you to hit the streets and practice everything you learn in real-world situations – a proven method to achieve and maximize proficiency in foreign language and culture.

Resting your eyes on the rocky outline of the Andes while sitting amidst the grape vines of Mendoza, sipping a Malbec with the wine-maker.

A dazzling day exploring the historic and fashionable city of Buenos Aires followed by an evening of Ballet or Opera at the world-famous Teatro Colón.
Counting rainbows and exotic birds as you experience the thunderous water falls of Garganta del Diablo, Cataratas del Iguazú.
A quiet afternoon of reading at a water-front café followed by a private visit to an artist’s studio and an exclusive food and wine pairing dinner with your personal sommelier.
Ice-trekking on the Glaciar Perito Moreno, the last advancing glacier from the ice age, followed by sunset on an estancia and a traditional meal of patagonian lamb.

Limitless Argentina is dedicated to introducing its clients to the vast and diverse country of Argentina, with an occasional hop over the river to Uruguay. Whether through its outdoor adventures, cuisine, arts, or conversations over a glass of wine, Limitless Argentina hopes to provide an interesting and humanistic opportunity for travelers in Argentina.  A relaxing vacation that is also full of unexpected insights and delightful bits of fun.

We are a U.S. company with a permanent office in Buenos Aires.

The company was founded by Vanessa Guibert Heitner, a U.S/Argentine university professor then teaching in Washington, DC.  After several years of working in academia, she decided to fall head-first into her books, choosing to live Latin America rather than write about it from afar. As a dual citizen of Argentina and the U.S.A., Vanessa is able to orchestrate an optimal encounter of cultures, avoiding stereotypes that are often perpetuated by tourist attractions and guide books. She has created a travel company that goes beneath the surface, removing the commercial filters that lie between the traveler and the destination.

Vanessa earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Middlebury College and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Hispanic Literary Studies from the University of Virginia. She is married to a strategic communications consultant with clients in Europe, Africa, and the United States.  He and their two young children are quite happy to lead the “trip testing team,” ensuring that every journey created by Limitless Argentina meets their exacting standards.

"There's no better testament to LimitlessArgentina's talents than the fact that three months after my first trip, I had Vanessa plan another trip for me, this time to Salta and Jujuy.  If it's possible, my second trip to Argentina was even better than the first adventure! "

"Not only did Vanessa take on the job of making our once in a lifetime trip special, but she did it in formidable fashion. We had private wine and art tours, tango lessons, cooking classes and help when and where we needed it. Our itinerary was full when we wanted it to be full and relaxed when we needed a break from traveling."

Marc and Heidi Parsont
