Vanessa, I wanted to write you a quick note about my family's trip to Argentina.

We had a marvelous time during the entire 10 days. Buenos Aires was a great city with incredible shopping. All of your shopping recommendations were perfect. We needed the three extra empty bags we packed to fit all of their purchases in on the return flight to Pennsylvania. The hotel in Buenos Aires was the perfect location and provided good service. Our hotel in Patagonia was a great property also; I am very glad we were not in the middle of El Calafate. The remote location made it a special place and Patrick enjoyed the swimming pool.

Of course once we visited the Estancia everything else was a let down; it is truly a magical place. My entire family loved it. The horse back riding was the best for horse quality and varied natural beauty that we have ever done anywhere in the world. The hiking was also spectacular. The staff provided outstanding service and food, rounding out the perfect experience.

The sociological tour was great and the wine tasting was amazing; they did a tremendous job with both us and the children...

I would highly recommend your company to anyone traveling to Argentina. My wife and I would like to return again with adult friends during polo season and also make a visit to your countries wine producing area.

We had a great trip - it was a dream come true. We really appreciate your ideas for the trip, setting us up with the best guides and following up with us during the trip.

Portillo was awesome …We ended up doing a 1/2 day of heli-skiing - our guide Carlos turned out to be the Carlos that you had recommended. We had a lot off off-piste skiing especially once we got used to the lifts - which we call the 'rocket launchers'! The food and service were excellent. Sally and I had planned on going to Yoga every night until we learned it conflicted with the Chilean wine week. We did not miss a tasting and enjoyed getting educated, we won prizes and met great people.

Argentina was a wonderful side trip. The hotel was perfect - the people were really nice and we liked the boutique feel of the hotel, the great restaurant and the surroundings. We did end up taking a quick bike trip to the olive oil factory down the road. Everything was a highlight - Pedro was wonderful - we had a great time with him - he designed the perfect hike … We were also delighted with the gourmet lunch! We can still hear and smell the crunch of the wild thyme as we hiked the foothills... Besides snow - another of Larry's loves is good beer - so he was pleased when we ended our hike at the Jerome micro-brewery. We have promised to send them a 6 pack of beer from Maine for their collection…the restaurant recommendations worked out perfectly. It was nice to have everything arranged ahead of time especially for our short visit.

Although we weren't completely sure about the wine tour - it couldn't have been better. We really hit it off with Guillermo… We knew Guillermo was well respected when the staff at the wineries were asking him questions! With both Pedro and Guillermo we were very impressed with their professional credentials - thank you for arranging the best of the best and with such nice, fun people!.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge of Chile and Argentina and planning a great trip for us. As our first experience using a travel agent - it was perfect! Please feel free to use us as references. Thank you again.
